Evaluation FIT-IT Semantic Systems

FIT-IT is a program of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology in cooperation with the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and Eutema Technology Management. On July 6, 2006 the evaluation committee for the third call in the FIT-IT “Semantic Systems” program line met in Vienna. Eight expert discussed a total of 18 project proposals. The members of the program committee were impressed by the consistent high quality of the proposals, and the scope of the FIT-IT initiative in general. From the submitted proposals, seven research projects with a total budget of more than 2,9 Mio Euro were recommended for funding.
